I would prefer to be barefoot. I can...I hate shoes. I would prefer to be barefoot. I can walk across gravel barefoot. I did grow up in the country. Both of my kids also do not like shoes. I find it quite amusing when they are running around outside barefoot and all the neighbor kids have shoes on because their parents make them.
