SUNDAY BARN TIME #126 (I think)

It's not Sunday morning until I post the barn.  This weeks barn is from a recent series of barns from west Kentucky.  I try to keep an accurate record of the location of the barns I photograph, but in spite of my efforts I invariably find one or more barns where the location has been "lost".  Today's barn is somewhere in Graves Co.

TWO WEST KY BARNS

It's time for a change of pace, at least for today, and a return to the countryside.  West Kentucky is awash with aging, little used barns that all seem to take on the same appearance - rusty tin roofs and faded unpainted siding.  In spite of this, they still retain an air of dignity that age and neglect cannot destroy.

Here are two such barns in Graves County, rendered in watercolor and measuring 11x14".

SUNDAY BARN #110

You can see this barn if you are driving along Rt 121 in Graves county KY.  The green "dripping" down the sides is actually the remnants of of a shingle or paper covering; I could not get close enough to determine which.

BARN OF THE DAY 84

I have a problem.  I am out of town this week and forgot to take my list of the barns I've already posted.  So if I post a barn this week that you've seen before it is not by design.  Of course I will be quite impressed if someone does recognize a repeat posting.
