and the muses are nowhere around, I turn to these large watercolor streetscapes. Their execution requires only patience, and I can work on them willy nilly, whenever the spirit moves me. Once the drawing and taping is done it becomes a coloring book exercise.

After 31 years of pursuing 2 careers, medicine and art, I am now fully retired from medicine and am able to devote all of my time and energy to art. How wonderful is that?!

These paintings, in person, are breath taking. Just incredible. A 60" watercolor is LONG.
