LESS WORDS & MORE IMAGES
is the order of the day. Taking a break from the current work in progress I found myself rummaging through the file drawer holding the large clay mono types, most of them created 6 or 7 years ago. I kept them for a reason...I like them...and decided I would photograph selected prints (they were previously photographed on slides and I wanted better quality images) so I could begin to get them seen by a wider audience.

I am enjoying your posts about transitioning from what many would consider a great job to the uncertainty of becoming a full-time artist. I have spent my whole painting career as the dreaded "artist/commercial artist". Can't figure out a way to change that yet, but seem to get my studio work done anyway. The problem is it leaves precious time for being part of an artist community.
I like the monotypes, especially the second one!
