AUTUMN IN PASTEL
Another reworked pastel. This painting has moved through several different lives. Initially a simple pastel, and later overworked with more pastel and an encaustic varnish. Yesterday I decided it looked too harsh, and began still another application of pastel.

Dad, I was just thinking today about something. Is it possible to take some of your favorite work and offer "on demand" high quality limited edition prints? I have my eye on a few things and I don't necessarily have the budget for an original. I love the painting that I saved as my desktop background. It has a big richly colored, dark blue sky, a row of trees at the bottom and yellow grass.
