As would be expected, the older structures in the city are found on the streets close to the Chrisrtiana River where the city had it’s biginning. Here, on Market street and King street, I found an endless source of subject matter, buildings I never tired of painting.

I love seeing all these drawings of Wilmington. Michael and I did an art show last summer in Wilmington and I was enchanted by the city. I look forward to getting back there.
